My name is Kristen Kecy, I am Married with 3 beautiful and strong willed girls. I am a busy mom and wife that can relate to every aspect of parenthood because I have had my "hands full" for about 6 years. Before children of my own I went to school for education, and also was a professional nanny for about 4 years, so I guess my hands have been full a while. I am now in the process of becoming a postpartum doula.
My journey with this boutique is unique in its own way, but also alike to a very inspiring woman who created a very similar community in my home state. She grew a community that touched my life and so many others. I started going to a group called seedlings, a playgroup aged for my daughter. I had no idea while in this group that I would meet my village and a best friend. I met so many other people struggling the same battles. Why won't they eat, sleep, or stop touching my body? Why no matter how many circles I run in, is my house still a disaster? Why am I hiding in my closet eating skittles? Why does the word no suddenly create a very hostile environment? After moving to a new state, and not knowing a soul, I realized the magnitude of this special place, and that it needed to be shared. I feel so inspired to keep that supportive, empowering energy going and pass it on to others. In a city full of people it's hard to find a village and it's hard to connect. Not anymore. Join me at The Nesting Spot.
The Nesting Spot is a community, it is a village and a tribe. It is a nest, a den and everything else you need it to be. I am so blessed to be able to create an environment for families to grow, and shape their parenting style with support. There isn't one way to parent there are hundreds, but we all fit together with a common goal raising our families to be happy and healthy. This village thrives on community partnerships. We will provide trusted advice, support and guidance. Come join us, come connect.
